Academic Support
Skill-building classes for learners who need clear instruction, practice, and confidence in core literacy and study areas.

The Creators Guild is a teaching organization led by Paula Smith, built for Outschool families seeking supportive academic instruction, creative enrichment, meaningful discussion, and student-centered online classes.
Mission
The Creators Guild gives learners a place where curiosity is welcomed, effort is encouraged, and creativity has room to grow.
At The Creators Guild, our mission is to help students grow as confident thinkers, readers, writers, creators, and problem-solvers.
We believe learning should be both meaningful and engaging. Students need strong academic skills, but they also need opportunities to imagine, discuss, build, collaborate, and express their ideas.
Whether students are strengthening reading and writing skills, exploring literature, joining a creative writing adventure, building confidence, or diving into a favorite interest-based class, our goal is the same: to help each learner become more capable, confident, and excited to learn.
Our Method
Students learn best when teachers explain skills clearly, model expectations, provide guided practice, and give learners chances to use what they are learning in meaningful ways.
Clear and easy to follow
Encouraging and student-centered
Interactive without being overwhelming
Structured while still allowing creativity
Appropriate for the age and skill level of the learners

What Makes Us Different
The goal is not just to cover content. The goal is to help students grow through instruction that feels approachable, thoughtful, and responsive to real learners.
01
We offer both academic support and interest-based enrichment.
02
Our teachers focus on encouragement, clarity, and student engagement.
03
We create classes that support different learning styles and confidence levels.
04
We value creativity, discussion, and critical thinking.
05
We aim to make learning feel approachable, not intimidating.
06
We welcome students who are shy, neurodivergent, creative, curious, struggling, advanced, or simply looking for a place to learn something new.
